{Loss}

My sweet husband's papa, my children's pawpaw, my dear father in law... his short fight with cancer ended on Sunday, January 27th.  My heartfelt thanks goes out to those of you who have been their with your support throughout these past months.  It has been a difficult road, and there is an even more difficult one ahead.  He was loved by so so many and will be missed terribly, but he will always be with us.

{Back in the swing of things!}

Well, I cannot believe that it is already the middle of January!  WOW!  I hope that you all enjoyed the slideshow of 2007.  It was truly a wonderful year and 2008 is shaping up to be even better!  I thought I would pop on and share a few little sneaks for a couple of fab moms!  I also thought I would include a few other fab little ones - my own!

First of all, here is a super sweet baby planner!  Isn't he precious!  We are going to have a fun year!!!

And then, one of big bro.  I love this kid... he is so much fun, and was totally teaching me about decepticons!  Believe it or not, even though I have 3 boys, I am not that "up" on transformers!  He and I both thought that ought to be changed!!!

Another one of my favorite little guys!  17 months is quite a fun age, right guys!?!?!  It is quite possibly one of the MOST difficult ages to photograph, so it only gets easier from here! ;0)

Now for my own kiddos!  Mommy got a new toy, um I mean lens.  And you know that means we must go out and play!  :)  

I really really big puffy heart this lens!  It is so fun and funky!  LOVE IT!  by the way... can you spot the uggs in this pic?  LOL

I had to include this - my 8 year old got the camera from me so I could swing with 2 of my babies...  I think she did a fabulous job, don't you!?!  I decided not to mess with her art, so no cropping!  I can dig her composition here...  those 2 trucks are framing us very nicely!  :)  

And yes, my arms look kind of funny... but that is what happens when you are holding on to a squirmy little fella!  She had quite a few clicks that day with mommy's camera!  You never know - maybe we'll get to work together one day!

School project, time!  These books are so awesome!

{A Fabulous Year in Review}

So, another year has come and gone.

WOW!

This has been a year filled with so many wonderful memories for me, not only in my personal life, but also in my "fabulous" life! I have so many of you to thank for that.

I do have to shout a HUGE thank you out to my sweet husband. You know, the shutter would not get clicked without him! When I am busy shooting away, he has all 4 kids! Yes, he is super fabulous! AND a huge-a-mongous thank you to my ever so wonderful office manager, Darcie! She is my life saver!!!

A little over 2 years ago, Fabulous Occasions turned into something that myself, nor my husband or friends, could have ever imagined. I have been incredibly blessed with this opportunity and am enjoying every minute of it.

2008 is a very exciting year for us. So many changes and ideas to implement! I will keep you all updated with any new fab news!

For now, I would like to let you walk back through the year with me. These are just some of the many memories made in 2007. (ok, so there are a LOT on here!) So, grab that latte, or sonic drink. Run and get a comfy blanket to cuddle up with. You know that box of Nilla wafers in your pantry... snag those too! And enjoy...

Well, my fellow blog friends, thank you for going down this path with me! I'll look forward to seeing you all in '08!!! I know one thing for certain... it is going to be FABULOUS!!! :0)
