{Sneak Peeks}

So it has been wild summer. Here at the beginning I thought it was going to be l o n g and extremely difficult with all the kiddos. Well, it hasn't been the easiest ever, BUT it is going SO fast! We just got back from a fab vacation to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. It was amazing and I will have more to share later, but for now, here is a sneak peek for my one and only... yes, even my hubby gets to have a fun something to look for on my blog!
This shot has such a fun story behind it. We were going to dinner and our reservation happened to be at JUST the right moment when the lighting on the beach was PERFECT! So we all go sit down for dinner, which happens to be right on the beach, then the kids and I take off... One has the sombreros, one has shoe duty once we get to the beach... and mom is lugging the 2 year old, 7 month old, as well as my 5th baby... my camera! We rush out, I get them all in place, then snap away! There was a fun couple beside us who was taking pictures of my kiddos at the same time. All in all we were on the beach MAYBE 7 minutes. Here is the end result... I must say it was worth it!!!
This little guy was here when he was a newborn, now look at him! 1 year and cute as can be!!!
Miss H has the most gorgeous eyes!!! We had such a fun time! She and I were instant friends!
One of my favorite little girls! I don't know where the past 9 months have gone... You and your mommy and daddy are such a joy!!!
And a couple of my nephew!!! He has gotten SO big! I can't believe he is already 6 weeks old. We shared one of those oh so incredible moments...he smiled at me! All you mommys and daddys out there know how amazing that is! Those very first smiles are ones to be treasured forever...
I have a feeling you will be seeing a bit more of this little man! ;0)
So I am off for now - the rest of these galleries should be up within a week. Keep your eyes out for an email moms and dads!
Until next time,
lindsay

{San Fran}

Ok so my promises are just no good. (well... where blogging is concerned!!!) I pulled just a few but I have only skimmed the surface of all the pictures! This is from the first half of our trip, the last half will have to wait a bit. But I have been talking about it, so gosh it is time to deliver!

the wharf it is July 4th after all...
China town at night - don't even get me started about us walking back UP to our hotel after dinner! Oh my goodness...
ONE of our hotels at night (there were 3!)... super cool place! This is the Fairmont in San Francisco.
my take on the golden gate... driving across it going up into the muir woods and up the coast - that was the second half, so no pictures yet of that, but it was incredible!
Loxton Wineries... We LOVED this spot. The winemaker himself came out for our private tasting. He was so informative and had such a great story behind the wines. They are not a public distributor, so you have to order their wines from them, but they are FAB! One of our wonderful dinners with wonderful company! Look at all those wine glases... And this was after a full day of tasting... thus why they are not empty!!! WHOA!
Another spot we stayed. The Fairmont in Sonoma... perfection!
Another angle on the Fairmont
OH MY GOODNESS!!! It's me! And two of the amazng men in my life! This was us in the Kunde cellars. Really cool spot...
Kunde cellars from my camera
Tasting out of the barrel... super fun!
i just really liked this
OH! This was to die for! A cabernet tart. It had an almond crust and a pear in it as well.
Yummy!!!
Some of the Loxton grapevines. Did you know that they plant rose bushes at the end of the line of vines to determine how the grapes are doing? Apparently roses and grapevines are affected in the same way, but roses will show signs of trouble earlier. Just a fun tidbit...
So, that is the first half of an amazing trip. I will share the other half when I can.

I wish all of you and your families a wonderful 4th of July. To all the men and women who are serving this amazing country that we call home, both at home and abroad, and to all of their families, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. May God bless each and every one of you.

Until next time,

Lindsay
