{Trailers...}

My first job ever was in a movie theater.  I actually worked in the theater system for quite a few years.  It was in one of those theaters that I came face to face with the man of my dreams.  I met my husband at the box office in the old Arbor theater in Austin.  Movies have and always will be one of our favorite things.  I have to admit, we don't get out to the actual theater much anymore, but we love the whole shabang when we do get to go.  

One of my favorite things has always been the trailers.  Makin your little mental list of all the fabulous looking movies that you HAVE to see!  Love that!  SO.... this brings me to the reason for this post!

Here I have been up going on 2am for a few nights in a row.  I must get to bed....  I had thought I would be posting a slideshow tonight of a most amazing wedding, but for now folks, a trailer of sorts will have to do!  

SO...  some still frames, if you will.  I will post more details about what you are actually seeing in the next post, but for now, I'll just peek your interest so you can make a mental note that you MUST check back for the real deal!

Pretty fabulous stuff, eh?  And, um, that does NOT look like Houston now does it?!?!  Now you are really looking forward to my whole story!

{A day late...}

But I'm not coming up short!  I promise!  :0)  Not a lot of time, but wanted to share a few recent fab favorites...

{Missing....}

It seems that I have gone missing!  I sincerely apologize to all of the Fab - Oh ers!  I will be making up for my absence over the next few days, and I don't want anything to get buried, SO....  I am going to be breaking up the posts, then I will go missing yet again for a few days, then I will return!  :0)  Oh so much news... where to start?!?!?

Ok so first off, the crazy big print sale was AWESOME!  I am SO excited that so many of you took advantage of that and I cannot wait for you to have all of these 20x30s, 20x20s and so on hanging on your walls!  The smaller prints have their place, but for those of you who have been to my house, you know I like to go BIG - AND if I can assist others in that, that is even better!  

And then as far as where exactly I have been, I think I will leave that for another post.  It will be an exciting one, though!  So, check back over the next couple of days for that!

{Bored easy...}

I admit, I get bored really easily.  Well, not with everything, but with my site, yes.  With my hair, yes.  With my blog header, YES!  SO....  I have been busy trying to desperately update things around here.  I'm sure you have noticed the blog header is different - and then when you come back later it will be different AGAIN!  WOOHOO - yes that is right a revolving blog header... say it with me... ooooooohhhhhhh      aaaaahhhhhhhh  LOL  Oh it is the little things in life that are just oh so fun!

And, while we are talking walls, I thought I would share something I am printing BIG!  

I know everyone thinks it has got to be so easy for me to get such great pictures of my own kids.  Well, while I do have amazing pictures of my children, they too, go in stages where they really don't want to get their pictures made.  While I was making my annual coffee table book of my children (if you haven't seen these, you have got to!) I realized I was lacking pictures of my oldest son.  I wasn't sure exactly why until I watched what he was doing... the camera was coming out and he would just... disappear...  (stinker!) :0)

SO I have been making a big effort to catch that little guy before he has the chance to make his getaway!!!  

I got this picture that just absolutely jumps out at me.  I love love love it and it is going to be a 20x30 in his room.  (he has the pbk old vintage trucks bedding, so PERFECT!)  I already have the frame as well...  it is a rusty red with an espresso trim - and it is GORGEOUS!  This particular picture does make me a bit teary though as well, he looks so grown up here.  *sigh*

So pick out those pictures and get on the phone or on email and get me your orders!  *7 days and counting*

{We Are Fam-i-ly...}

That is what the night ended on... (you know the song I am sure!) and what a fabulous night it was!  I was honored to photograph the wedding of a most wonderful couple.  I had such a great time and wish them absolutely nothing but the best.  Their family will always be so very special to me!  

I am having such an explosion of weddings here lately and am SO excited!  They are so much fun and I have had the most amazing couples ever!   (which only adds to my excitement!)  If you know anyone who is getting married that is interested in my work, you might let them know that rates will be increasing next month, so they have a little bit of time to still get in on the current rates!  AND any referral that results in a booked wedding gets you an 8x10 gallery wrap canvas!  Gotta love that!
