Most of you recognize this face. He is everywhere in my world. All over my site, all over my blog, and yes he is ALL mine! Ok, so maybe I share him with a few other people! ;0)

I thought I would share one of my rays of sunshine.

Family means......

What does family mean to you? Is it crazy holidays with lots of wild stories... Is it love love and more love? What is it? I want you to tell me! This contest has 2 parts. The first part... take a picture of a family member holding up a sign saying "Family means ______". Be creative! This doesn't have to be a perfect picture! It just has to be something YOU create. Then, write up a paragraph or so about what family means to you. I consider pets and friends to be family members as well, so NO one is left out in this. When you have those 2 things done, email them to Lmoore@fabulousoccasions.com - write in the subject line "FAMILY". Deadlines for this contest will be Monday, May 7. Entries will be judged on creativity. I will not be a judge. I have an annonymous panel of judges who will be doing this for me. The winning entry will be notified by May 14. Only one entry per family, please.

What do you win?

If you have been to the studio since Christmas, you most likely have seen the coffee table book of my kids. If you haven't, they are amazing. The winner of this contest wins my time for up to 1 and a half hours at your next event. This can be a birthday party, the birth of a new baby, or even just your family at your own home playing and having fun. All events are subject to prior approval. This is me capturing a special moment in your families lives. You then will receive a custom designed 20 page 8x8 coffee table book from that day. This is so huge and I am really excited about it.

Share this with friends and family! The more entries the better. I may even have runners up, you never know!

One thing is that if you enter, you are consenting to me sharing your story as well as your picture on my blog.

Just a few to share. I am so behind on posting pictures on here! All the recent changes have been keeping me so busy. Thank you all so much for your kind words on my new site. Miss L - oh such a bitter sweet session. She is the big ONE now! I have really loved capturing her first year and am just in love with this picture...

This is my new incredible friend - Miss K! She is SUCH a character! She was teaching me all kinds of tae kwon do moves! I loved it!!!
And her sweet pea little sister... Miss S... She is the serious one! They were an absolute joy for me.
Aren't they a cute couple! ;) That was for you J! I had a really great time with you both!
And one of me... well this is me without my candy coated Lindsay shell on! ;0) Look! She even has uggs on! Gotta love that!

Emails Lost In Cyberspace!

My email was down from Friday around 130pm, until Monday morning around 830am. If you or anyone you know was trying to contact me, I was not ignoring you! I am trying to see if they can be recovered, but am doubtful. With the new site, came little speed bumps, but everything seems to be going great now! Stay tuned for the next contest!!!

WHO'S OUT THERE?!?!?!?!

Ok. MY SITE IS LIVE!!! Can you see it? If you can't, just be patient! The internet can take a few days to "see" it everywhere. (I don't get it, but that is what they tell me!) So here is the first of a few contests to come! The first five emails that I get by 11:59 pm TOMORROW (April 20th) with the word "chocolate" in the subject line get a complimentary 8x10 from their NEXT session!!! WOOHOO! The only thing is that the session has to be completed by September of 2007 and only ONE per family, per session! The winners will be notified by Tuesday of next week.

I had so much fun with these little guys, and two super sweet and beautiful women in their lives... their mom and grandmother. They called their grandmother "ga-ga" - I loved that - I can't wait to be a grandmother.... oh wait - I can - but you know what I mean. I love the idea of it. I love the names we give to our grandmothers. There is always so much love behind them, and they are always unique, even though quite a few of us might have a mimi, or a nani...2 of my own personal faves ;0) - they happen to be my own grandmother's names. But they are always so unique to that person, and seem to bond us in a way. I've gotten in many conversations where one of us would refer to our grandmother by their fabulous name and the other person would say...'oh I have a mimi' - that instantly has created a bond for me with people. I've gotten way off subject... but I don't guess it hurt much! I just hope that one day I will be blessed with many unique and wonderful grandchildren and that they will bless me with a unique and wonderful grandmother name. Those little things in life are what it is all about!
